Mission Doctors Association

Formation Class Begins!

The beginning of the formation class for the long-term Mission Doctors is an exciting time.  It is also a busy time, a time to ensure that we have all our t’s crossed and i’s dotted.

As the doctors begin a time to slow down, they are at the same time looking forward, anxious to learn more about the location where they will be serving.

What medications are available?

What other staff is there?

What should they pack?

And while these are all important questions, we encourage them to pause. To take the time to enter into the program, to learn more about themselves, to enter into the Scripture and Theology classes, to learn more about culture in general, to pray.

As the formation program begins on August 23rd, I ask you to keep these doctors in your prayers.

I will begin the work to confirm their assignment, to begin what will be needed for visas, in-country licensing, and more.

It is an exciting time and a time that will be both busy and prayerful. Join us in praying for a successful time together!

Elise Frederick
